Children and Youth

At Trinity, we heartily welcome children in worship, education and in fellowship.

Children are welcomed to attend any worship service with their parents and the church has a “soft space” in the back of the church with small tables and chairs for toddlers and young children. If it is more comfortable, children are also welcomed to stay in our nursery during worship services. The nursery is attended by Sophia Liu, a wonderful woman whose warmth has made the nursery a popular place to be for many of our younger set!

During the 9:00 service, children from grades Pre-K to 4th are invited to participate in Children’s Chapel, a service that runs concurrent with the “adult” service and includes prayers, readings, a children’s sermon and singing. This service occurs in the Children’s Chapel on the second floor of the church building, right next door to the nursery. Children are brought back into the Sanctuary before Communion.
