Welcome, Trinity Families!
Trinity seeks to be a vibrant place for families to cultivate their spiritual growth, where everyone is welcome to explore questions of life & faith. We aim in all of our christian formation to foster “faith for the whole person” — supporting the minds, hearts, and bodies of everyone at every stage of life in every circumstance.
As our rector, the Rev. Paul Jeanes, reminds us each week, “at this table there are no outcasts, strangers, nor unwanted guests, all are welcome to come and feast at the table of our Lord Jesus Christ, so please do come and be fed.”
The Episcopal Church tradition facilitates full engagement with the stories of our shared faith through liturgy and learning. Each week, in worship services and in Church School, we use our bodies, voices, minds, and spirits to glorify God. If you have young children, this is good news because wiggles are welcome!

We love learning about God and engage in the holy practice of spiritual wonder with your children.
Church School occurs on Sunday mornings during the 9:30am Formation Hour between the 8am and 10:30am Holy Communion services. While Adult Forum is happening in Pierce-Bishop Hall, children have Church School upstairs.
Church School is an opportunity for children to learn, practice, and engage with our Christian faith. Through reading the Bible and interpreting the stories in an age appropriate way, the children of our community can understand what is being said and ask questions and get answers. This is just the beginning to at home instruction in the word of God.
In November, we will begin preparing for the Pageant in Church School.
Godly Play® is a Montessori-style method for experiencing sacred stories, parables, liturgical action, and contemplative silence using simple, natural materials. It invites the child to connect faith stories with personal experience through wondering questions, open-ended responses, silence, symbols, and tactility. The materials used in Godly Play® are simple and handcrafted.
Sparkhouse offers groundbreaking Christian resources through imagination and collaboration, with curriculum developed from a collaborative community of Christian thought-leaders and practitioners from a variety of denominations.
Remember, if your children are feeling sick or running a fever, please stay home! We’ll be glad to see you when you recover!
Each classroom has hand sanitizer dispensers, sinks for handwashing, and windows which can open if necessary to provide extra ventilation.
We continue to provide individually wrapped snacks and drinks in order to minimize risk of illness. There are sinks in each classroom, and we will have everyone wash hands before snack-time.
According to current New Jersey Guidelines, masks are optional.
According to CDC Guidelines, vaccines are strongly recommended. We will not keep a record of vaccinations; however, we do recommend that you ensure you and your children are up to date on your vaccines and boosters.
If someone tests positive for covid after being in Church School, please notify Miranda, and we will send an anonymized email to notify other families of possible exposure.
Trinity’s Nursery is a beautiful and light-filled space directly upstairs from the church office. We have rocking chairs, a diaper changing station, a small fridge for snacks and drinks, books, and toys for children three years old and under.
Trinity is currently in the process of hiring Nursery staff. Parents are always welcome to stay with their kids in the Nursery. Remember, you can tune into the livestream service from the Nursery!
Donations
Donations to our nursery are always welcome, contact Miranda to coordinate or bring them in to church on Sunday mornings.
